Hear from recent graduates what life after school in the cybersecurity field is all about.  You will hear from three very talented diverse young adults share their day to day activities, how they are using their cybersecurity skills in the real world, and what you can do to prepare for a career in cyber.  This is a great session to ask questions to people in your generation.

Key Questions

?       What is a typical “day in the life” of a cyber professional?

?       What are the best and most challenging parts of the job?

?       What is the typical education background, specific training and/or certifications required?

?       What is the future of this field?

?       How one might gain the experience necessary?

?       What students may do now to prepare themselves for a future career in cyber? 

Expected Outcomes

Students will get perspectives on cybersecurity careers from recent graduates. They'll learn about the need for more cybersecurity professionals, the breadth of opportunities they may not know about, and ways to gain hands-on experience for a career in this field.
